Lou Paradis is a unique collaboration between the French animation studio Béchamel, the Japanese illustrator Radical Suzuki and SubmarineChannel. Lou Paradis is a deliciously seductive game that started out as an ironic yet sexy take on the immense popularity of online dating games. In Lou Paradis you take on the role of Mr. President. But instead of ruling the country you have a much more important job to do: work on your sex appeal! There are six games. Six different settings, each one inhabited by one of more of Lou¢¥s hospitable friends. The animated vixens will react to your every moves and touch. Push the right buttons and the girls will reveal themselves bit by bit. But beware; they like to be treated properly! ¡°Lou Paradis¡± was presented at HAFF (Utrecht, the Netherlands), Anima 05 (Cordoba, Argentina), Flash Festival 2005 (Paris, France) and Ottawa International Animation Festival 05 (Ottawa, Canada).
Directors : Guillaume Joire, Radical Suzuki
Radical Suzuki was born in Japan, in November 1966. The motif of his work has always been a person through a period of searching. Feminine sensitivity and the feeling of a lively motion of the character are valued in his work. The genres of the illustrations vary from advertisements to books, magazine and character design. He is always searching for originality. Searching for adventure would be fitting in this situation. He received Distinctive Merit Award at the Art Directors Club 79th Annual Exhibition (USA, 2000), HKDA Design Show Gold Award (Hong Kong, 2000) and Distinctive Merit Award at the Art Directors Club 80th Annual Exhibition (USA, 2001). http://www.big.or.jp/~radical/
Guillaume Joire is from Paris – France. He studied painting and drawing, and worked for awhile as a newspaper designer for Agence Editorial. In 1998, while working for Euro RSCG he stumbled across multimedia, and began using After Effects to animate his own art. He quit his job in 1999 to form bechamel.com with Sophie Estival. Soon other friends joined the adventure. The site won "le Prix Media Internet 2000" at Imagina 2000 in Monaco. In March of this year, "L'Ascenceur" was an official selection of the French International Festival of the Internet. It was most recently screened at Streaming Cinema, in Philadelphia. www.bechamel.com
