Free Screening "Net Section" from Sep 6th to Dec 31st, 2007.
All the works in Net Section will be screened free without logging on from Sep 6th to Dec 31st 2007.
All the works of the 8th Seoul International Film Festival "Net Section" will be screened free of charge on the official website of Seoul International Film Festival ‘www.senef.net’ from Sep 6th to Dec 31st 2007. All the website visitors can watch all the brilliant short films and web-arts in Net Section without logging on or buying tickets only if the internet is available.
This year, the Net Section of Seoul International Film Festival received 1068 submissions from 67 countries and made the new record. Based on the submission history of Net Section including last year’s record 718 submissions from 36 countries, the Net Section is clearly enlarging its scale in both quantity and quality. Also as the submitted works online via FTP sever and URL exceeded 50% of the whole submissions, our Net Section took its place more firmly as an official online film & web art festival. We appreciate all the artists who have shown the interest and participated as submitting works.
Finally, 154 works from 38 countries are selected and are being screened in our Net Section. Net Section is composed of Competition Sections and Non-competition Sections. Again, Competition Sections are divided into ‘International Short Competition’, ‘National Short Competition’ and ‘International Web-work Competition’, and Non-competition Sections are divided into ‘Mobile Choice’ and ‘Perspective i>’.
Net Section of the 8th Seoul International Film Festival, as it always has, will invite you to the world of true cinematic arts where the popularity and artists’ startling visions coexist.
