As time goes by, Asian films are increasingly becoming more important throughout the cinematic world. Seoul International Film Festival promotes the people¡¯s growing interest and networking in Asian films. That is the goal of the Asisn in Focus section.
To make it more meaningful, film critics and film festival directors from Asian countries have participated in the process of selecting ¡®5 Best¡¯ films. The Korean film critic CHUNG Sung-il, Tokyo International Film Festival¡¯s former programmer Teruoka Sozo Tokyo, and the Cinemaya editor-in-chief Latika Padgaokar were kind enough to participate in the process.
